Episode 17-21 was a rough ride. Dr Song’s private practice really became very busy and she was, alone, seeing over 10 clients on a weekly basis. She was really burnt out, really trying to give her best to her clients, and also trying to make sure she took care of herself and managed her autoimmune disease.
The result was we had to take another long break between episode 16 (filmed on March 31st 2025) and episode 17 (filmed on December 12, 2026). So basically over a year …
By the time we got back to the project Dr Song pretty much had forgotten everything she watched and also her ability to be open and vulnerable also became more stunted due to having to develop a much more compartmentalized and clinical personality in order to do her job.
The videos for episodes 17-21 are … not great. They feel very hollow and superficial.
