Dr Song originally didn’t think this episode had anything to do with her and that she had no connection to it. Turns out she was quite wrong.
Almost ALL media / art has something to do with you because you’re the one viewing it. The only reason you might think it doesn’t is because you’re trapped behind a wall that blocks you from connecting emotionally with the content or because the artist is manipulating you to feel what THEY feel, though rarely can people put aside their own transference to experience even that intent.
Once Dr Song removes her wall of apprehension and preconceptions, her emotions begin to flow freely and the entire session proceeds in a wonderful and therapeutic way.
