It was my idea to watch these 5 episodes of Evangelion in one sitting.
While 7 is it’s own thing to just provide a lot more background, 8 thru 11 are what I once called the Introduction To Disruption when I was teaching Media Therapy during my time working in the anime industry. I consider these episodes to be the Asuka introduction along with solidifying the 3 pilots as a team.
So, Dr Song talks about the episodes as if they are one complete episode.
Note: It’s ALARMINGLY difficult to find non-hypersexualized images of Asuka online.
